The system matches your email to your Portable account, routes to the right expert, and cleans up signatures and quoted text.

Hit reply in your email client and it routes back to the same chat thread. The expert remembers everything from the conversation so far.
Forward any email to an expert and they'll read the full forwarded content. Great for getting a quick take on something you just received.

If you have experts on different accounts, use the + syntax to be specific: scout+my-team@my.portable.expert. Without it, the system searches all your accounts.
Type "no reply" anywhere in your message and the expert will respond only in your Portable chat, not your inbox. By default, every email gets a reply.
Email signatures, "Sent from my iPhone", and quoted reply text are automatically removed. Only your actual message reaches the expert.
Only emails from addresses registered with Portable are accepted. If someone else emails your expert, it won't go through.
